is that the same as telling her she used to be fat?
10/12/2009 1:31:17 AM
Depends on how much weight she lost. If she hasn't lost much or doesn't seem to have made a solid effort to lose weight, I wouldn't mention anything. If she has lost an apparent amount of weight, then she has most likely agreed with herself that she was in fact fat and made the effort to lose weight. In the first situation you might be an asshole to mention weight loss, in the second you would be an astute gentleman. Women are fucking odd.
10/12/2009 1:35:51 AM
i think its all about the approach. you could say "wow you look good" and give her the once over, especially if you havent seen her in a while. but saying "jesus, how did you get rid of all that fat" is probably not a great idea.

yeanever mention weight in any shape or formbe subtle. and then bam... fingers in the pussy
10/12/2009 1:41:56 AM
imo I don't see how someone could be upset if you told them that it looks like they lost weight. Unless, that is, they don't want to lose weight. Its more of an observation to me. Kind of like, "oh I see you got a haircut, it looks nice." I've never been offended when someone said this to me [Edited on October 12, 2009 at 1:46 AM. Reason : grammar]

Does she have cancer or something?
10/12/2009 1:48:47 AM

10/12/2009 1:52:07 AM
this thread inspired by ray romanobut i usually dont say anything unless its extremely noticeablei know if someone randomly asks me if i lost weight my first instinct is: "are you saying i was fat?"course thats more for laughs but regardless
10/12/2009 1:54:12 AM
In general, you should never comment on a woman's weight loss or gain.It ain't your business.
10/12/2009 2:02:58 AM
women shouldn't take everything so personal, it's just a comment based on an observation
10/12/2009 2:05:16 AM
We're not like "OMG, are you saying I was fat! I'm so upset!"It's more, "Wow, it's really none of your business, and I'm tired of my body being up for discussion or comment."
10/12/2009 2:09:41 AM
dang, didnt realize it was that harshglad i erred in the right
10/12/2009 2:10:48 AM
I would prob say this to both men or women, but whatever, I respect your position
10/12/2009 2:11:47 AM
what if a girl gets a boob job? are you allowed to comment on her titties being bigger?
10/12/2009 2:16:11 AM

You won't get away with something like that in the South. We're not some cold yankee bastards who won't ever talk to you.
10/12/2009 7:15:41 AM
if she brings it up first it's ok, usually......or it could just be a trap. either or
10/12/2009 7:19:20 AM

I love when people tell me I look like I've lost weight. If I'm working hard, then it's nice when people take notice.
10/12/2009 8:31:12 AM
^ that is truth
10/12/2009 8:35:13 AM
what if a guy says it and you haven't lost any weight? wat then?
10/12/2009 8:36:56 AM
^
10/12/2009 8:37:38 AM
Then I must be wearing an outfit that's slimming. I'll take the compliment no matter what (as long as it's genuine that is)
10/12/2009 8:43:25 AM
10/12/2009 8:49:20 AM
telling her she gained weight is also bad
10/12/2009 8:50:37 AM
LunaK has the right idea
10/12/2009 8:56:39 AM
that's crazy....if someone ever says it looks like I've lost weight I get totally flattered....
10/12/2009 9:40:41 AM
i've never been offended by someone telling me i look like i lost weight...even if i haven't, i just assume it means that the outfit i have on makes me look more slender.now the other way around...NEVER EVER ask anyone if they are preggers.
10/12/2009 9:47:49 AM
bring on the compliments!
10/12/2009 9:50:55 AM

10/12/2009 10:07:31 AM
Tell her you've seen her drinking 1%. Is that 'cause she thinks she's fat ? 'Cause she's not. She could be drinking whole milk if she wanted to.
10/12/2009 10:17:55 AM
lame
10/12/2009 10:42:26 AM
10/12/2009 11:47:26 AM
Do guys even notice weight fluctuations? I'd venture to say that most men are oblivious to weight loss/gain in women.
10/12/2009 11:51:47 AM
^i am oblivious, so i never say anything, unless its blatantly obvious. this is just one of those compliments i never use because to me it feels like im saying "hey, you used to be fat". Instead i'll say "hey, you're looking good" or some other such generic statement.
10/12/2009 11:56:08 AM
^^Pretty much the first thing I notice. But I'm picky as hell when it comes to girls and weight. Weight can be hidden so easily and sometimes you can think a girl is bigger, but she might have a great body. You have to take everything into account...size of hips, arm fat, neck fat, booty, legs, etc., when trying to figure out how much a girl weighs and whether or not she has lost any weight recently.I feel like I've become very good at this...but sometimes a fatty will still sneak by my weight-radar.

10/12/2009 2:05:37 PM
^^I played the "guess my weight" game a few days ago and no one came close to getting it right. one of the contestants was a good friend so I knew he wasn't trying to flatter me. but yeah, I'd like to see if you could guess correctly.
10/12/2009 2:14:46 PM
People have a hard time guessing weight for athletic women.
10/12/2009 2:31:29 PM
I'm from the 5'7", 115 school of preference, so yeah, it throws you off a bit when the girl you're digging is 140+I've only banged one girl that weighed more than me, when I was on an adderral/coke binge and was sub 150 when I slammed this big bitch I met at Sammy's
10/12/2009 2:34:55 PM
I say that it depends. The fatter the girl was, the more likely she'll take your comment about her lost weight as a compliment.
10/12/2009 3:20:03 PM
women on here might have better advice if they've actually heard that statement from someone
