I got this email from wolfwall not sure if they are talking about TWW or not.> Hi Scott,> > By now you've probably heard about The Homepage For The Pack, WolfWall,> and seen the chalkings around campus. If not, you can visit it at:> http://WolfWall.com> > WolfWall has everything you need as an NC State student and a resident of> Raleigh. I know this because I AM an NC State student and I included> everything that you will ever need on WolfWall.> > You may have received an email from a group last month claiming to be NC> State's Student Homepage, these people have never been to Raleigh, nor do> they attend NC State. WolfWall is the REAL NC State Student Homepage.> WolfWall is NOT owned by a company or people located 671 miles away in> Amherst Massachusetts that have never been to Raleigh. WolfWall is NOT> just a "blanket" site for every college that just has the colors changed> to red and a few NCSU links added. WolfWall is NOT dedicated to over 100> colleges, we are ONLY for NC State.> > We are always looking to improve WolfWall, if you have a suggestion or> just notice something that is missing, please do let me know and I will> respond to you personally and discuss your idea.> > Make sure that you set your homepage to WolfWall so that you can have> everything an NC State student needs right at your fingertips.

yeah they're talking about tww, but they're either deliberately lying to ignorant freshmen or they are ignorant freshmen.tww is the original, and the template for all the others. but we all know that. i say we fuck wolfwall up. hack it to hell.
10/12/2009 11:27:27 PM
i don't think that's referring to tww

they do have a link to TWW on their website. I do have to agree that the website is somewhat confusing and it doesn't have a forum i can find
10/12/2009 11:48:57 PM
honestly, if someone has to bash another website to promote their site, their site obviously sucks balls.
10/12/2009 11:50:24 PM
ncsu computer use policies for students. i'm just guessing here.even if it's not breaking any rule, it's clearly unethical and a lame way to get traffic to your site no site has ever been spammed into success
10/12/2009 11:51:44 PM
Big time. This kid could get expelled I would think.
10/12/2009 11:52:47 PM
if he was a serious recruiter he would paint the tunnell
10/12/2009 11:53:17 PM

10/12/2009 11:55:23 PM
if you hover Your Links : NCSU Links you will find TWW at the bottom.this site doesn't even have a forum, shit they can have it as their "homepage"slap a button, or several that lead to TWW and everything is gravy it is kinda slick how they tied all the relevant NCSU links together along with WRAL and the Technician's headlines... hell you should even inquire as to integrate the 2 sites more, as in, that one's the students "homepage" and this the primary forum. = flood of new users.though that email is hilarious tww is original...

10/13/2009 12:02:32 AM
In the email he is talking about campuslive.com (website for nc state is http://www.campuslive.com/ncstate). Back a few months ago there was an article in the Technician about it.I used the site for about a week, and switched back to forthepack.com. The only thing I do like about it is how you can change the background and put up whoever you like....for instance Adriana Lima anyways here's the articlehttp://www.technicianonline.com/news/campuslive-aggregates-web-sites-1.1881777
10/13/2009 12:16:24 AM

egads, that "wolfwall" site is a fucking horrid jumble of epilepsy-inducing graphics.and its amusing to see their "student organizations" link: they have exactly two: Wolfpack Club and Campus Crusade for Christyeah, they're going to do well. [Edited on October 13, 2009 at 10:52 AM. Reason : ]

10/13/2009 10:55:39 AM
finally a website that links me to gmail!
10/13/2009 10:58:51 AM
well, considering this site actually has a link to TWW I don't think they are bashing TWW.
10/13/2009 11:18:26 AM
lol at the comments to that technician article
10/13/2009 1:10:24 PM
it doesn't look like any of the competition is even close to drawing TWW's userbase away - what's left of it anyways

^ ummm fo shiz... they change throughout the day and in the evening they ride turkeys and late at night they eat pumpkin pie and then they play hide and go seek.. and they also grill burgers, and rake leaves, and my personal fave is where the daddy raccoon has the leaf blower and the little baby one looks funnyYOU'RE WELCOME, to whoever gets the raccoons.
10/13/2009 2:07:24 PM

wolfwall is a clusterfuck - but at least you don;t see this every time you login:Server Error in '/' Application.Runtime ErrorDescription: An application error occurred on the server. Hi Scott
10/13/2009 2:35:13 PM
Their code is not crazy at all.
10/13/2009 2:38:25 PM
^^^ troof
10/13/2009 2:45:02 PM
holy shit thats a lot of animation. mainly they need to keep the "wolfwall news" animation from zipping across the screen every 2 seconds..or worst case if they wanna keep annoying people with it then provide a pause button. a global pause would be good too.and yeah it's not related to tww at all. it's just a pretty link dump.]
10/13/2009 3:36:42 PM
That shit is horrendous.
10/13/2009 3:40:11 PM
the wolf web is a link on this site. which is pretty much just a collection of links ncsu students use everydayso if they chose tww as some sort of "official" nc state messageboard why is everyone bitching?
10/13/2009 3:52:53 PM
neither thewolfweb.com nor brentroad.com are registerd to anyone in Amherst Mass...further, neither is partyincollege.com (if they were somehow implying that PIC came before TWW)not sure what site they're referring to in the OP

10/13/2009 6:09:06 PM
i think the only reason WolfWall included tww on his site is so we wouldn't fuck with him
