I took a girl to that movie (upon her request), she actually got PISSED at me for it. I knew the ending and didn't tell her - I was somehow supposed to know that the movie was going to upset her. But she ASKED me to take her to it!

crazy bitches...

It's not a sentence

There's nothing wrong with the phrase "blank and me"

"It's blank and me"

"Give it to blank and me"

i was not surprised either...though i didn't read the book. the reason i wasn't surprised was the story was described as the experiences this family has during the life of their dog, Marley. part of that experience has got to be dealing with its death.

that said...i wept like a baby. a slobbering, beligerent, baby...and i made my dog snuggle with me during that whole scene and held on to her like my life depended on it.

i, too, wept like a baby in theaters. and by wept, i mean full-on snotty sniffling outloud sobbing. for like 20 minutes.

^^^ never read the book either, but yeah, death is one of the things one must face when keeping a pet. I knew it was coming especially when he went to the vet the first time for bloat

You know the dog dies going into it. That doesn't deaden the emotional impact.

I could never love something that I know was going to die after 14 years, and that will willingly eat its own shit and vomit.

Fuck dogs.

JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE SENSITIVE DOESN'T NECESSARILY MEAN THAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY WOMEN.

Although, anyone who went to go see that movie should've known what was coming. I read the book while on a 2 week trip without my dogs...that'll make you cry!
