Just to deliver on the (blog) promise of this thread, here's some background character development on this girlfriend of his... Her parents don't like my brother very much and so a couple of years ago, they told her to break up with him or else they wouldn't pay for her college. Well, she gave him this whole song and dance about how she loved him so much, but then broke up with him anyway so she could keep her free-ride... And here's the kicker... She made him promise to stay loyal to her, but then refused to talk to him or even IM for about a year and a half while she milked her parents. (Because otherwise she would be "lying" to her parents... can't have that!) He never dated anyone else during that time period... Not sure if she did, but I did see her one weekend at crossroads movie theater with some guy. I was shocked when they got back together, but I always guessed that she had went back to him because she'd gotten dumped. The funny thing is, she still had a year left in college which her parents kept paying for after they got back together... Makes me wonder if she made up or exaggerated the whole story just so she could play the field a little.
