Buy one get TWO free on all sportcoats, pants, outerwear, sweaters, and sportshirts from now through Wednesday.Sure, it's lame clothing, but it's a good time to stock up on that business formal/wedding/event wear that we all need from time to time. And that's an incredible deal.
10/19/2009 4:44:23 PM
hmm... I should probably go take a look.

Its an American companyIf you're wearing American "business formal/wedding/event wear", then you're doing it wrong[Edited on October 19, 2009 at 4:51 PM. Reason : besides BB, they're cool]
10/19/2009 4:50:23 PM
That's interesting, I thought you would approve of this message Slave, considering how you always talk about how poorly people dress at work.
10/19/2009 4:51:11 PM
Would Joseph A. Bank not fit in the title bar or something
Nothing like being a dress clothes snob. If you look good in your clothes, then you've made your point.
10/19/2009 4:52:38 PM
looks like they tripled the prices
10/19/2009 4:52:42 PM
10/19/2009 4:54:30 PM
Stimwalt, Jos A Bank is one of the many reasons why I talk about how poorly people dress at work
10/19/2009 4:54:49 PM
You probably think Ralph Lauren makes good suits because they make good jeans and polo shirtsThis is akin to thinking McDonalds makes good steaks because they make good hamburgers and chicken nuggetsIts a whole different ballgame, and the discerning eye will be able to spot the difference from a mile away
10/19/2009 4:57:25 PM
Notice how the tieMATCHES UPwith the socks.
10/19/2009 5:00:00 PM
I know the tux I wore was quality
10/19/2009 5:00:26 PM
It's all made in Malaysia anyway
10/19/2009 5:01:44 PM
I'm not trying to sound like Patrick Bateman here, but its hard to take most people seriously here when probably 2/3 of them have a similar daily dress code to this lady[Edited on October 19, 2009 at 5:05 PM. Reason : x]

buy one get two free would almost make up for the hundreds of dollars I'd spend getting their clothes altered to fit correctly.

10/19/2009 5:17:46 PM
I like their clothes. They typically fit properly for me.
10/19/2009 5:17:48 PM

I need a new jacket. Theirs are ass-expensive for what I need.I wouldn't mind paying these prices if the clothes were actually made in the US.[Edited on October 19, 2009 at 5:31 PM. Reason : k]
10/19/2009 5:23:56 PM
you people
10/19/2009 5:28:39 PM
Gronke, how fast are you going to drive to get to Cary Towne Center?
10/19/2009 5:34:39 PM
wait, what's wrong with Jos. A. Bank clothes? i could use some new work clothes, its got to be nicer than the stuff i usually get from target.
10/19/2009 5:55:52 PM
there is nothing wrong with itit is not a 3000 dollar custom suit, but it is also not a 99 dollar suit. You take it to the right tailor, and it looks fine, and they last. And their shirts, ties, and other stuff is just fine as welljust a bunch of hating going on here
10/19/2009 5:57:56 PM
if you need a $3,000 suit to do business, then you're doing it wrong.
10/19/2009 5:59:50 PM
I met James Scott Farrin once. That dude wears nothing but Mens Warehouse
10/19/2009 6:10:47 PM
^but would YOU want to go up against him in the courtroom? I mean, he is...JAMES SCOTT FARRIN

10/19/2009 7:41:39 PM
I find their clothes to be cut for people with serious guts, especially the shirts. So, its more for old people
10/19/2009 7:46:17 PM
^I had a suit from there once, the old grandpa insisted I get one from there when I was like 19. The guy insisted he could trim it up to make it fit right. I seriously look like MC Hammer in the suit despite the fact im 30 pounds heavier than I was when I got it. Pants are huge. Monster shoulder pads. Loose and saggy. Looks very sloppy.

I've never shopped at this store a day in my life. And it looks like the shit is overpriced to begin with, hence, why they can afford to sell you shit at buy 1 get 2 free.I could be wrong, but I wouldn't make special efforts to get over to the mall because of this sale...
10/19/2009 10:43:17 PM
Hah, I had to post in here real quick son. Kind of a silly thread son. ]
10/19/2009 10:50:13 PM
this deal is basically buy one item at 3x the cost get 2 free
10/19/2009 10:56:32 PM
Shit your pants in the store and we'll give you another pair at up to 40% off.....ONLY AT JOSEPH A. BANK.
10/19/2009 11:03:51 PM
They have pants that are like $50, so I don't see why everyone is only focusing on the $700 camel hair bomber jackets.
10/19/2009 11:17:16 PM
it's good enough for stock stuff at least.best bang for your buck is a hong kong tailor, custom made suit to fit you exactly, and cheap
10/19/2009 11:18:31 PM
Their wrinkle free shirts really are wrinkle free as a motherfucker. Like, you can wash them and forget they're in the dryer for at least three days and then take them out and those fuckers still won't have nary a wrinkle.
10/19/2009 11:23:16 PM

I'm on their mailing list. They do this shit every month. Nothing to blink twice at. There's always some "amazing deal" going on.I have ~6 Jos A. Bank suits. A Black, Blue, Blue Pinstripe, Tan, Dark Grey, and Light Grey. Their "stay cool" suits are fantastic in the summers, or if you're on your feet all day. I will say that their stock suits have pants that are WAY too big for the chest size. I wear a 54L jacket, with a 40 waist... their 54L suits come with size 48 waists... so no alterations in the world can save it. This is why Suit Separates are a godsend. I'm not a Brooks Brothers fan.[Edited on October 20, 2009 at 1:12 AM. Reason : more.]
10/20/2009 1:08:32 AM
well aren't you a big fucker
10/20/2009 3:40:09 PM
^^every place does that. I wear a 60 jacket and a 36-38 waist, so buying coats and pants individually is a given for me.
