i think i'm better at cooking than baking because a lot of times baking (from scratch not like, the box shit - anyone can do that) has really specific directions. like have the egg at exactly room temp or beat for 1 minute but don't over beat

and i feel like i don't have the techniques exactly right yet. plus i'm impatient and get distracted.

ok, we have four contestants now, two of which have asked for more time, and two people mentioning it in this thread

like i said, we are flexible so heres what we'll do, im assuming nobody wants to spend halloween baking so:

deadline to enter contest is Friday October 30th at 5 PM

all you have to do is pm either me or crazy_carl and state that you wish to enter and an idea of what you will be entering

entries will be due on Saturday November 7th at 5 PM

so forth and so on

no offical catagories, but there will be best pie award, best cake award, best cookie award, and best miscellaneous, and then an overall best.

^^^if you want to stick around there might be some, but i think the judging needs to be done in private between the two judges
