In what context? Dumplings could not be any more inferior to pastry if chicken is involved.

Those are probably filled with something equivalent to pond scum and, as a result, are pure filth. I'd expect nothing less than pure filth from someone of this nature though son.

^ not as hard as you may think to make, just take a while to fold the wrappers.

but here is what I used:
Ginger
Spring onions
Shiitake Mushrooms
Ground Turkey
Shrimp
Soy Sauce
Salt & Pepper
Hoisin Sauce
Dumpling Wrappers

Just mince and mix everything but the wrappers of course and then put the mixture into wrappers and I steam but you can fry them as well.

Really really want.

I'm going to have to make some sometime. What did you use to steam them?

You gotta try this sauce:
-soy sauce
-sriracha
-lime juice
-sugar
-green onions
-a drop of sesame oil

We made Gyoza over the weekend, actually, so I guess I made something similar.

Just a few more ingrediants, and a different wrapper with a harder fold.

THe hell Fumbler, we have like the same recipe there.

Granted, there's few things I won't put sriracha and sesame oil in.

Yeah that shit's good.
It's making my mouth water

Sriracha's good stuff and I put it on everything. My dad makes this kick ass sriracha. I got a jar of it last time I went home. It's better than anything store bought I've ever tasted.

Are chicken w/dumplings and chicken w/pastry not synonyms for the same thing? At least I thought they were.

^according to mama, NO they are not. but she has yankee roots so i dunno if you wanna trust her

dumplings (in that context) are little balls of pasta, almost like gnocchi. ya know, dumplings. pastry (in that context) is like long thin noodle-like pieces of pastry, sorta half the length of lasagna noodles.

personally, i always preferred the dumplings.

i miss my mama's home cookin'
