so, we should ignore our laws and make every illegal alien a U.S. citizen? Besides this being nearly impossible, it opens a door you don't want opened. If you allow illegals to become citizens, it sends the message that the U.S. does not care for or enforce its laws, thus it's open season to illegally enter the country and have no fear of consequences. Now, you may call me a #&!(#@! conservative for wanting to enforce our laws and believing that border security is vital to our nation and that there are still people in the world that would like to erase the U.S. off the map and would do so given the chance.
