I'm wondering if this is part of the same beef recall we are having up here. We ate the beef so are we going to die?

"Fairbank Farms notified Food Lion LLC today that our company received a portion of fresh ground beef products that are part of Fairbank Farms' national product recall. The recall is isolated to 93/7 ground beef purchased at Food Lion stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. In an abundance of caution, any customer who purchased 93/7 ground beef at Food Lion with the sell by date of Sept. 21 through Oct. 8 should return the meat to the store for a full refund. The company is removing any affected product from store shelves immediately."

mine has 10/9 on the label, ive already at a few packs of it, so im fine hahah.

i don't know what the dates are because i freeze them in freezer bags. and i don't think i dated them. oopsy.

I think that was the Hep...Unless you're talking about a different incident. I definitely ate some chicken there one time and then they were on the news saying if you bought food from their deli you need to get some shot. I didn't get the shot and I thought I was ok, but I recently found out you can have the hep and not even know it.

yall some faggots

eat that meat and shut the hell up. Its still good meat just...well damn cook it

only thing im a snob for is the best deal and the most applicable selection of items at a given time. I know which stores have what i want/need and i can shop around for which stores have the better price

though i must say Supercompare here in Durham is batting .1000 on price and selection, the place is the shit

it was in the news up here this week... they were recalling ground beef from a grocery store that I shop at... said it had E. Coli

pwnt

that ground beef that I bought last week, I had already eaten
I started thinking back, and now I do remember having really bad cramps / stomach pain after dinner one day last week. Oh well, I guess I'm still alive... I guess

nah

I'm alive. I lived through the pain, took a shit, and moved on. As far as I'm concerned, I'm done with this issue.

[Edited on November 3, 2009 at 6:52 PM. Reason : now that I think about it, I save my grocery lists for some odd reason. lemme check....]
