When I get scared (like that ever happens, I'M A FUCKING MAN DAMN'T) I just really go with the fight or flight response. It's never totally autonomous though, I can make a decision about what I'm going to do.

But some people flip out, and it's not just girls. I saw a dude today, a normal guy, totally act irrationally because he was scared. It was strange.

How often does this happen?

I mean, I was a little afraid at first. Random dogs tend to do that. But when I was able to ascertain that this dog was no threat (he responded to "sit" for christ sake, he was somebody's) I was cool.

He never was.

Oh, that kind of fear. I don't like nylon, the stuff windbreaker jackets and trapper keepers are made of. Running my hands over it sends shivers down my body. I've tried to desensitize myself, with little success. Hasn't really been an issue though, I just don't buy it.
