yeah, killer voice

I think his best work was with Temple Of the Dog, personally (though I also like Soundgarden, and Audioslave is ok). The whole Temple Of the Dog album ROCKS.

Hunger Strike has really grown on me over the years. I can distinctly remember not liking it the first few times I heard it. Now it's one of my favorite songs. "The Day I Tried to Live" is also awesome.

Andrew Wood, singer from Mother Love Bone. The whole Temple Of the Dog project was a tribute to him (name taken from a line from a Mother Love Bone song).

I heard Soundgarden for the first time in the PSX version of Road Rash. "Rusty Cage" was the song.

I like Chris Cornell, but that Billie Jean cover sucked ass. Talk about loving the sound of your own voice. Get the fuck out of here with that slow shit. It's supposed to be a fast, fun song and you ruined it by making it all serious and shit.

unfortunately in recent years, cornell has suffered from what i call "robertplantitis"

such is the effect of the ravages of time on vocal cords

time to STOMP AROUND THOUGH

^ Well, Soundgarden sprinkled on some Zeppelin years ago, too--I remember seeing them referred to as Flannel Zeppelin or something of the sort by some.

"Rhinosaur" is an example of a bit of a Zeppelin-esque approach:

But I still like it. "The Day I Tried to Live" is good, too:
