So, the following is an AIM conversation I had with this girl just a little while ago regarding facebook. There is a high word count so read at your own risk. But tell me, did I really come across as a dick or did she flip out for no reason, which is what I believe?

when i was in japan i was able to post all my pictures for all my friends to see, and talk to them about what i was doing
i do look at peoples pictures that i still talk to today...but not anybody that i no longer see on a regular basis

i mean thats cool but there are other ways to do that
without using a site middle schoolers and grownups now use

I've always gotten annoyed by people who say "u" or "ur" or "cuz" or any of those other words when typing. It's not that hard to type you or your or cause...I'm probably a huge hypocrite though, cause I will constantly type out wanna instead of want to or gonna instead of going to. I also use lol quite a bit during online talking, but that's it.

Also when I am having a conversation with someone online and they use the wrong there their they're or your you're I automatically think of them as less educated. I know I shouldn't judge someone by that, but it gets on my nerves. I realize that I make the mistake as well, but I will often correct it after I have done it so people know that I know the difference.

An ex of mine will sometimes talk to me online and he has no idea how to spell won't and he will say want instead. It drives me insane and I correct him every single time but he still does it.

I was in Japan last year, I'm not there anymore. And I was intentionally passive throughout the conversation. I was trying to see if she had the self-awareness to realize how she was acting and stop acting that way. Being combative wouldn't have helped me figure that one out.

If you notice, she comes across as accusatory and then tries to get all pouty when she realizes that she's being unnecessarily stupid about it. When in doubt, make the other person feel bad to mask your own embarrassment, right? That's usually the stance most people take when they realize they are being stupid. It takes the focus off of them and all of a sudden you're apologizing for something you didn't even do. I'd like to say it's only a woman thing but most guys do this too.
