I watched Twilight while I was home. I really can't stand the chick in that movie and from what I've heard of the other books. If my daughter became that retarded over a boy crush I'd have to question my parenting

i watched the first one thinking "how bad can it be? It has vampires and shit, gotta at least be some cool fight scenes"

its OK, but its broody and emo and cheesy as fuck with lines like "Death is peaceful, it's easy. Life is hard."

the end fight scene was boring and stupid, the coolest vampire tricks they did were play baseball and run really fast

its really not worth seeing unless you have to

^^ No my favorite was when he breaks into her bedroom and says something like, "I've been watching you sleep for months."

Imagine saying that to a chick in real life and not ending up in jail

^^hahaha i def said "uh, shed be screaming her head off right now"

thats the other thing is the love story is just absurd, like if a dude acted that in real life any grown ass woman would either say "fuck off weirdo" or call the cops on him

but i dug his sunglasses

^ya the whole concept of a vampire family trying to pull off being a legit family was the most interesting concept of the movie, i wish they had gone into more detail about how they actually lived

This thread just taught me a lot about the first twilight movie.

I think I'm wholly disappointed now that this has become so successful.

So one thing I didn't get about that movie.

That part in the house with the stupid Italian dinner and what's his face tells what's her face that he just goes to high school over and over and over again.

I could see that working somewhere like NYC or San Fran or something. But they live in the middle of nowhere Washington. Wouldn't the school system catch on?

It was a really great movie to watch.

No worries folks, unless I'm asked about it, I won't be going on and on about it like I was before...I was just too excited to contain my enthusiasm. But now that I've seen it, I'm happy.

I'm glad this fad didn't catch on over here. I'd be surprised if they even bother releasing the second movie.

i can't believe i'm actually addressing this but...

he's like 100 years old...

they live all over the country and just start all over again in new cities when they can no longer pull off high school/college age in that town...he's also been to every ivy league college in the nation...

they haven't been in Washington State since the 20s....so nobody remembers them except the Indians

I saw a "Scene-it!" game based on twilight. But since theirs only, i think, two movies out, and I'm not sure if they can use the one that's in theaters in the game, you would have to be some kind of retard to find this a challenge if you had seen the movies. But then you would be a retard anyway.

After the first movie I saw a shirt at the mall that had just the two brooding dudes on the front silhouetted by the moon. They looked like star crossed lovers. Now they've got one with the same two dudes, but this time one of them looks like they got spurned by the other. I assume they broke up in New Moon?

I think one of the abilities vampires have in this particular mythology is the power to have sex with other men without being gay or cheating on their girlfriend. Someone who's read it give us the page number for reference.
