- today, I was offered a seat at the panthers game with a group of coworkers (5 of us). The tickets were available from another coworker. well, he ended up selling the tickets to someone else who had already spoken for them. No prob, more tickets were to be had I was told, and the plan was to leave at 4pm. I had confirmed a few times around 3pm that the new tickets were obtained, and at 330 was directed to be at the group leader's house by 4pm.

I got there at 4:07. No group waiting on me. So I called the one guy in the group who's number I had, thinking they didn't wait on me long enough. NOPE he said they were on their way to the game, because they only got 4 tickets from the back-up source. Nobody told me.

I was the odd man out. Standing in this dude's driveway. Ready to get crunk and watch football.

I think what happened was this - the person who had directed me to be at the leader's house didnt know the final qty of tickets obtained... and then when they realized what was up, they jetted.
