There is a restaurant around here that has a jalepeno and pimento cheese sammich- I wish I could remember where I saw this so I could go try it. Also, for all you pimento cheese eaters- do you buy it premade (if so where?) or do you make it yourself? It really is easy to make

When I was a kid, it was sort of a tradition for my family to go out to lunch after church. Except when we misbehaved, in which case we went straight home and my mom would make pimento cheese sandwiches. Naturally none of my siblings or me wanted to eat them, but my dad gobbled them up like they were just snacks.

i was a picky eater when i was younger and i'd alternate lunches between homemade pimento cheese sandwiches and cream cheese + salsa tortillas

I used to think it was really gross. Then a co-worker brought some mini sandwiches to a potluck and I realized I like it now. It's good as a grilled cheese.

Pipers in the Park has the only Pimento Cheese sammich that I like. I've tried making it at home and it sucked. Their sammich is the bomb though.

I like good pimento cheese. Tobacco Road's is awesome... yet some of the best I've had was atop french fries and bbq at The Pit. The BBQ Fries appetizer is A+++!

I haven't eaten a pimento cheese sammich in years until a couple months ago when we got a Sam's Club membership and I saw a huge tub of pimento cheese. My wife didn't even know I liked it, and I had honestly forgotten it too. I ate that whole thing in just a couple weeks. Now that is my snack of choice in a pinch when I'm home.

I halfway agree... I guess it also depends on how you make it. I don't have a food processor so store bought works better on crackers, but for sammiches, i would much rather make some of my own (you can make 1.5 lb's of homemade for the same price as you would by a regular container of it)
