this movie scared this shit out of me as a kid. and i distinctly remember not understanding a good portion of it (i was probably 5-6 yrs old when i watched it)...

hence i bought it out of the $5 bin at kmart last week with the intention of figuring out what was going on and what was so scary.

yeah i need to sort this out.... the more i think about it i am sure i liked the movie as a kid because i remember watching it many times all while being scared. maybe it was the rats. i did like their power stealing.

The coolest part of the movie is the sword fight at the very end and the magical force that comes out of the red medallion. So epic.

Because you were a fucking kid. Kids'll like anything. At one point in time, as a kid, I ate rocks and loved Zoobilee-Zoo. Having said that, those Don Bluth cartoons (Nimh, American Tale, Land Before Time, All Dogs Go to Heaven) were really good.

I think when I was a kid I must've like this b/c of Ms. Frisby'/Brisby's red cape

[Edited on November 23, 2009 at 12:33 PM. Reason : which is it? Frisby or Brisby? Sounds like Brisby, but I keep seeing Frisby ITT]
