Because all they serve is garbage.

Hell I'd call a $3 all you can eat buffet overpriced if all they served was ramen noodles. This is basically the same concept.

If you want pizza for $5 get whatever frozen pizza is on sale this week at food lion, and it's sure to be better than cici's.

Especially if its that palmeros thin crust, that stuff is awesome.

They have a good salad bar, good breadsticks, and awesome cinnamon buns...that alone is worth the $5 IMO.

Cici's is still worth it for the desserts, the pizza is definitely very meh, but their garlic cheesy bread is excellent

My point is that if I go to a pizza buffet, i expect the pizza to be the star. And if $5 is a steal for shitty pizza, I'll pay the extra $1 and go to Pizza Hut

But I'm not into sweets, so the dessert means nothing to me.

^x4+? I don't find to be as much of an improvement as you're claiming. Plus, isn't it only available on a certain day and/or during certain hours? I don't think anyone ever really plans a pizza buffet and bases their decision on yelp reviews. Any time I've wound up at this place, PH, or PI I've been famished, broke, stoned or a combination of all three. Shitty pizza is shitty pizza is shitty pizza, imho.

i can't imagine having the runs and heartburn after eating cici's, taco bell, or whatever...everything goes in during the day and comes out at 8am the next, like clockwork
