grandaddy always said it meant some frozen precipitation was headed our way soon, but i don't think it'll be cold enough anytime soon

Red halo around the moon=high winds

Many rings=severe blasts of wind

A single ring that quickly vanishes=fine weather

Also, the term warlock means twister of truth and is an insult to male witches.

at high levels, rain often forms as snow and melts as it falls. not always but usually, this time of year when it rains, its snowing aloft.

theres a huge low pressure system coming in from the gulf. nc will be on the warm side and could get some convection and possibly some severe. snow on the cold side in tn/ky

yes there are non talented artists on the mainstream but they are all popular for some reason. somethings good about the act for it to sell. basic capitalism. some artists buy good lyrics to make it, some sale sex, some buy good production to make it but many are actually talented.

For the record, the correlation is between thunder in winter and snow within ten days.

What I saw last night around 6:30ish looked very similar to what the sun does with clouds of a similar composition in that you have perihelia (sun dogs) and a circumzenith arc (minus the color refraction of course) in conjunction with the well defined halo.
