She kinda came across though as "hey guys, look at me!" while Grant and Tory ran things. She did mess Tory up though with the idea about the oncoming headlights. I missed the one about the dive suit though. What were they trying to prove. All I saw was the rather gruesome result and figured it had to do with explosive (or rather implosive in this case) decompression.

Kari doesn't have a technical background at all, she's a sculptress/artist. The reason she even is involved is because she incessantly bugged the Mythbusters (before they got famous) to let her do art shit for them, and when they refused she worked in their warehouse anyway for free. Eventually they decided to hire her.

well without doing any research at all, this explains a lot.

it bugs the shit out of me when they write her into the analysis at the end of experiments though. any time she says anything about it she just sounds like she is reading and it pisses me off.

especially if grant is giving the analysis on what happened and clearly knows what he is talking about then they put her dumb ass on to say something physics related and she clearly does not know what she is talking about.

^I didnt really like her at first, but she really grew on me the past 2 episodes. I almost like her more than Kari at this point. She seems to be really into it and enjoying what she does and adds some excitement. Kari just seems like she has gotten to the point where she is "going through the motions" and looking at her now, its kinda boring. If I could choose right now, I would rather have the new chick. Its not like either of them are ugly, but they aren't OMG hot either. I would take the new chicks attitude over Kari 5 days out of 7. Not that Kari is bad or anything at all, the new chick is just doing it for me recently. I like the change.

She coulda been just reading shit during this last episode, but something about her sitting on that car explaining how she was going to install NOS was just hot as shit.

I never really thought about it but you guys are right. Kari basically just paints stuff and decorates. She actually rarely does any science stuff. Perhaps she should just remain at home now that the baby is born
