why is it that people from like the 60s and 70s and 80s in those giant frat pictures (composites? i can't remember what they're called) look sooooooooo much older at 20-24 or whatever than people in college do now?

I knew my mom was wild when she told me she almost got caught harvesting conchs in Florida with my dad and had to throw everything overboard (along with my dad's weed ) ... very illegal without a permit
