the red light used in dark rooms for developing photos, is that any special wavelength, or can one just buy a std bulb and get a red cover/filter for it?

why would you need a darkroom? Chemical photography has no advantages over digital other than maybe nostalgia.

^its not for photography, something else. I'm working in a chemical lab and im about to start doing some research with extremely light sensitive stuff.


I did a little of my own research, peace camera sells safelights for $10-$30 downtown, I can afford that so i'll do that
