Wood fire, used two fire logs from food lion to get it started and been throwing soaking wet logs on it all night and they sizzle and pop like hell.

I dated a girl once where every time I suggested having a fire she made a stupid joke, so I had to always say "fire in the fireplace". She taught me that a girl can be too much of a dork, even for me.

Where the hell can you buy the metal things that hold up wood in the fireplace so air can circulate better? Mine, at the moment, is bare, and wood will either have to just sit on the ground or on other wood.

I want to burn one today, but I do not have much firewood, also my thermostat is two feet from the fireplace so whenever there is a fire the heat does not run and the whole house is freezing.
