12/6/2009 10:07:38 AM
depends on what's coming with them...if there's bacon and grits, I like over-medium.If its hashbrowns or nothing else, hard scrambled w/ cheese.
12/6/2009 10:21:11 AM
lightly scrambled or over easy...with toast of course.
12/6/2009 10:23:05 AM
I prefer them over easy, but I am terrible at making them myself (I always break it) so I usually only get it that way when I'm out. I'm going to try Alton Brown's trick to see if that works.Otherwise, scrambled w/ a bit of milk, salt and pepper. OR, a I make a mini omelette w/ bacon & cheese and slap it on toast for a bacon egg n cheese sammich*.*this is how i decided to make em today all b/c of this thread--thanks tww!! 12/6/2009 11:17:24 AM

i can also do runny if i have toast
12/6/2009 11:35:20 AM
Poached eggs are heavenly if you like a firm yolk but don't like the way the white is hard on a hard boiled egg.
12/6/2009 11:36:10 AM
^^ exactly^^^ I only poach them when I'm making eggs benedict[Edited on December 6, 2009 at 11:37 AM. Reason : doh!]
12/6/2009 11:36:40 AM
Two eggs, over easy-light, with bacon, hash browns, and whole wheat toasted lightly.^^ does not compute... properly poached eggs should have a runny yolk.[Edited on December 6, 2009 at 11:37 AM. Reason : poached hard = brunch cook's nightmare.]
yes, the poached egg yolk should be runny
12/6/2009 11:39:05 AM
Every time I ask for poached somewhere, I get a firm yolk, but not quite as firm as a 10 minute boiled egg.But if I ask for hard boiled, I end up with yolk running everywhere.
12/6/2009 11:41:34 AM
you are going to places that don't know how to poach eggs, then
12/6/2009 11:44:23 AM
this is why i like scrambled eggs - much harder to fuck up
12/6/2009 11:44:57 AM

12/6/2009 11:51:32 AM

12/6/2009 11:52:52 AM
the only REAL ingredient that should go on eggs is pepper. lots of pepper.
12/6/2009 11:53:17 AM
seeing ketchup on eggs just grosses me out.[Edited on December 6, 2009 at 11:54 AM. Reason : ^ correct. and a little bit of salt.]

I love eggs pretty much any way. I think my breakfast favorite is scrambled soft with a little milk and sometimes cheese. Or as an omelet. As a snack I eat them hard boiled.

Fried, over medium I guessI don't want the yolk runny, but a little bit soft is great.
