I was so mad at the movie Pearl Harbor. I looked forward to that movie for almost a year and it ended up being lamer than Titanic. I didn't think that was possible.

I live in Pearl City and work on the Sub Base on Pearl Harbor. I was shaving this morning so couldn't go outside, but my wife came back from taking my sons to school around 8:15. She told me that at 7:48 all the radio stations observed a moment of silence, and a four-man fighter flight flied over PH. Then, as they got to Ford Island, the assumed the missing man formation (with one of the four in a vertical climb).

She said it was pretty impressive.

As a comparison, what did NYC do for 9/11 this year?

It's sad how we forget so soon.
