Every Jewish deli I've been to had big sandwiches.

...and most of them weren't owned by Jewish guys either (they were probably a couple of Italian yankees from New York or something--it's hard to tell sometimes, they're just all blurred together).

For some reason it's hard to get a good BBQ sandwich in a jewish deli.

the whole thing about jews being cheap does not apply in delis...we pile those sandwiches up.

the closest thing around hear is NYBD between the walmart and harris teeter at the corner of tryon and kildaire in cary. they're italian and the meat isn't kosher, but the style is still the same.

there's a fantastic jewish deli in charlotte i always make a point to stop at whenever i'm there

i used to work at a bagel place and the deli meat there was all hoity toity boars head bullshit.

the NON JEWISH crotchety old man owner skimped on meat in sandwiches and jacked prices way up


we couldve been roasting our own meats and making a killing, but some people(christians) just dont understand delis

The Carnegie Deli on 7th Ave in Manhattan has monstrous sandwiches. I eat large portions of food but those sandwiches are two meals for me. I always get the Reuben. Best deli I've ever been to hands down.

This is incorrect.

Their hot corned beef sandwich is decent, but it's nothing to write home about and doesn't compare to a true Kosher Deli at all.

Considering my sandwich was made by a man wearing a large Star of David, I was disappointed.
