I figure most people fall under 1 of 3 categoriesA) Treat it like their babyB) Enough to be presentable and not embarrass themselvesC) Like their own personal cesspoolI'm usually a solid B, but lately I've been falling into C territory. Just this morning I found a gatorade bottle full of urine in the back seat that I dated back to nearly a week agoNow granted, the lid was on tight, so crisis averted, but it made realize I needed to get my act together

shit i moved here about a month ago and still haven't taken my belongings out of the back seati look homeless when i dip around town.
12/8/2009 12:15:47 PM
BAnd I, too, have had to piss in a bottle while sitting in traffic
12/8/2009 12:17:12 PM
hmmm i don't own a car
12/8/2009 12:18:03 PM
B. I always keep the inside clean.during the spring and summer i always have it washed and clean but once it cools down i neglect washing it for much of the winter. I desperately need to though
12/8/2009 12:18:54 PM
I'd say somewhere between B & C.

B. the only things i keep in it are my work clothes and some books in the back on the floor. but other than that it's pretty clean.i need to get the outside washed though...... but i just don't really care enough
12/8/2009 12:20:59 PM
A-B I hate having clutter in my car
12/8/2009 12:31:23 PM
if you had to pee in a gatorade bottle why would you not empty the contents on the highway soon after in such a way that it might spray onto the car behind you? they might even have a window open so they get pee on themselves.
12/8/2009 12:37:26 PM
BI generally have about 3 outfits (workout clothes, work clothes and cute going-out clothes) in the trunk of my car at any time, plus my tennis and golf equipment. Orlando is so spread out that most days I can't go home to change before a date/gym/social event.
12/8/2009 12:39:07 PM
so that means you always stink?
12/8/2009 12:40:22 PM
Don't be stupid. I don't wear the same clothes twice. And we have showers at work, so if I need to shower between work/date/whatever, I shower at work.[Edited on December 8, 2009 at 12:43 PM. Reason : .]
12/8/2009 12:42:48 PM
B, I should probably vacuum it out soon. :/
12/8/2009 12:44:06 PM
i was just talking about not being able to shower
12/8/2009 12:44:08 PM
Interior: Once or twice a month it's an A. Then it slowly drifts to B status.Exterior: Once every two months it's an A. Then it becomes a B very quickly.
12/8/2009 12:44:19 PM
do you ever pee in the shower at work?[Edited on December 8, 2009 at 12:44 PM. Reason : .]
12/8/2009 12:44:26 PM
Between A and B.There wouldn't ever be a bottle laying around in my car to piss in.
12/8/2009 12:44:34 PM
There are showers at work and at the gym, so I'm fine.
12/8/2009 12:45:00 PM
B, but the car is really old and starting to look pretty funky on the outside (206,000 miles will do that to a car)2 bags of disc golf gear1 large tarp1 towel1 foldable camping chair1 set of jumper cables1 battery backup thing1 tripod stool1 snow scraper1 dog water bowl1 car maintenance guidelots of tennis ballslots of dirt and debris

12/8/2009 12:45:41 PM
idk, it's a tough one.it's generally pretty clutter free, if you consider clutter things like empty bottles and shoes and shitit's been way down hill thoughand having a white dog with black interior is a disasterbut honestly, since i wrecked the fuck out of it i find it very hard to give a shit
12/8/2009 12:46:36 PM
A-Bi have two cars so the inside of one is always completely empty.

B-I have some garbage in the form of 1-2 gatorade bottles and a ton of parking permits from the healthcenter in my passenger foot area, and the exterior is in dire need of a wash. I keep it fairly presentable though

I handwashed my car on Sunday when it was 42° outside. I think that answers the question for me
12/8/2009 1:37:16 PM
i have a friend who loves his car more than people. it is kind of sad and pathetic. i remind him of this pretty much every chance i get
12/8/2009 1:39:12 PM
BI keep the back seats folded down all the time for ferrying Butler to the dog park.
12/8/2009 1:42:03 PM
12/8/2009 1:42:46 PM
my car is literally covered in urine and feces
12/8/2009 1:44:21 PM
12/8/2009 1:45:13 PM
B to B -i mean its not like there's shit in there (literal shit)but sometimes i leave cups or coffee mugs in it for weeks at a timeand water bottlesgod only knows what is in my trunk. like 8 jackets, 5 blankets, a sleeping bag, tennis stuff, shoes, about 500 cdsbut no one sees the trunk so we're good!
12/8/2009 4:11:45 PM
Between B and C. It's not as empty as I'd like it, but I have days where I'm in my car more than at home, and I'm never prompt about cleaning it out. I'm a lot better than I used to be, though. Used to be it looked like a huge fucking mess, and it really was. Cleaning it out was a 2hr chore. Now, it's <10 minutes. But I care for it: I keep a sheet over the back seat, and wash it, for transporting pets. I keep rubber mats down all the time. I detail the shit out of it at least once every couple of times, and I light clean the interior pretty often. [Edited on December 8, 2009 at 4:17 PM. Reason : sdf]
12/8/2009 4:15:26 PM
I'm glad I have an SUV and not a car with a separate trunkbecause I would ignore it for weeks on end and litterally have mold encrusted pubes on my golf clubs

i'm not lying!!! there's trash!but it is clean right now have youuuuuu seen it lately? i don't think so! it isn't a C. we know some other people's cars who are Cs. i think mine is a B to a B-

12/8/2009 4:18:58 PM
No matter what car I'm driving I'm a solid a or sometimes on the verge of a B. I don't care what it is or what anyone thinks. I wash and vacuum the car no less than 4 times a month. I keep a jacket a tool box and sometimes a ohine charger in a car.
12/8/2009 4:22:24 PM
When I think of C, I think of those people who literally have crap in their car up to the level of their windows, or higher. Very often, you'll see fast food wrappers in that mess

Was it your urineThat makes a pretty big difference in where you fall on the scale
12/8/2009 4:27:28 PM
We never leave any trash in the car, but I think there's probably a book in the back seat, and pens in the side compartments.
12/8/2009 4:28:16 PM
Inside: A-B. I try to keep the inside contents to a minimum (i.e. nothing but maybe an umbrella or ice scraper in the floorboard, maybe a jacket or a book on the passenger seat) but right now there is a stray cup and a mcdonald's bag in the passenger floorboard. Outside: B-C. Used to be pretty good good about keeping the outside up and would take it to Bunkey's monthly for a full service wash, wash/dry/tire shine it by hand in between if needed. More recently not so good--I washed it about 3 weeks ago, for the first time in several months. And, embarrassingly, I haven't ever waxed it and I've owned the car for 3 years.
