All of these responses are the type of thing I'm talking about. I think of what could have been if I never posted anything about a car and got into that whole "woman owning men in a car debate" right off the gate. I probably would've been welcomed in. If I didn't have people hating on me from the very start then the whole experience here could be very different for all of us. Instead, many follow my every post just to shoot me down. Its obvious because I could be in a thread posting "1+1=2" and people would say its silly/ignorant.

Can we just "squash the beef" right here and start over?

the problem is that Eclipses (other than the 1st gen AWD, and to an extent, the 2nd gen AWD cars) are complete garbage. They aren't fast, cool looking, or good driving, or well made, or particularly efficient or inexpensive, or luxurious, or good in any other way.

If you want to drive a suckass car that that costs too much and doesn't do anything well, that's your business, I guess, but you got all high and mighty and made a fool of yourself by ranting about a subject where your knowledge (and taste) were sorely lacking.
