meh, they can't be that bad
12/9/2009 11:09:46 AM
sure. i don't have anything on there that they're not supposed to see...if you do, then you're an idiot. you don't post that shit online.
12/9/2009 11:10:31 AM
i think it depends on what kind of facebook user you are.if you mainly update with random things, keep it PG and don't post asinine pictures of yourself, no big deal.if you love to overshare, post provocative pictures and your profile should be rated R, then probably not the best idea.common sense FTW
12/9/2009 11:11:29 AM
and there's the dissenting, or "idiot's" position
12/9/2009 11:11:33 AM

12/9/2009 11:11:48 AM
what is SO?
12/9/2009 11:13:36 AM
occasionally though you have people who post things on your wall / photos / ect....right now access is denied to SO's family...but I feel like its kind of rude for me to have it set that way since I have full access to their profiles...21st century conundrum ftl
12/9/2009 11:14:03 AM
i mean i feel like i have to add my own family as friends. but SO's family.... not so much
12/9/2009 11:19:11 AM
So sometimes you get a little drunk and retarded. Big deal.If you do anything more scandalous than that, then yeah keep it private.
12/9/2009 11:20:35 AM
Shit not even my family gets full access to my facebook profile. Moreover, I just ignore her family's friends requests(sans a select few).
12/9/2009 12:02:21 PM
don't you do it
12/9/2009 12:05:03 PM
you have absolutely nothing to gain by doing this, and everything to lose. If in doubt, don't do it.
12/9/2009 12:11:30 PM
I don't see the issueThey know I drink (and besides, I don't even have many of those pics up there because I just don't prefer it)And if they don't like stuff on my page, oh well, this is who I am![Edited on December 9, 2009 at 12:16 PM. Reason : added something]

It seemed to coincide that all of my family got on facebook around the same time that my profile dissapeared...
12/9/2009 12:18:55 PM
my bf's mom has full access that way she can see all the pics of her darling son and the things I do to him
12/9/2009 3:27:07 PM
I don't have anything to be ashamed of on facebook, so I allow full access to family. So does my wife. I go by the rule that if I don't want people to know it or see it, I don't put it out there. It was funny b/c at dinner one night my mother mentioned looking at my wife's photos on there and she said, "I saw your photos... you had a shady past"Most of the photos she was referencing were from my wife's college days, parties, etc...it was hilarious and all meant in good fun. Now i always tell my wife she had a shady past.
