Do you think you really like Kraft mac and cheese or the half a stick of butter the box suggests?Let's get to the bottom of this!

I just get the "premium" stuff with the already made cheese sauce.Considering I often don't have milk and butter just lying around it's much easier and sometimes cheaper, and usually tastes better anyway.[Edited on December 9, 2009 at 11:43 AM. Reason : ]
12/9/2009 11:43:06 AM
there is nothing "premium" about macaroni and cheese you buy in a box
12/9/2009 11:43:50 AM

12/9/2009 11:48:28 AM

12/9/2009 11:52:41 AM
me.
12/9/2009 11:53:07 AM
i admit though, i used to open 2 boxes of mac n' cheese and steal the packet of cheese powder out of the other box, making it doubly cheesy [Edited on December 9, 2009 at 11:54 AM. Reason : .]
12/9/2009 11:53:39 AM
real mac and cheese is not that hard to make, but I did eat more than my fair share of kraft while in college

12/9/2009 2:50:37 PM
the mac and cheese...especially since i don't like butter or use a half stick
12/9/2009 2:57:42 PM
i never put in butter when i make mac and cheese from the box- so this is a non issue for me
12/9/2009 2:58:50 PM
I always add extra slices of cheese to make it cheesier. The powder is never enough.oh and BOTH!

12/9/2009 3:23:08 PM

Powdered fake cheese crap is on my list of guilty pleasures. I am usually a very whole food kind of person, but that stuff is just goooood.
12/9/2009 4:36:32 PM
yeah i can't say much...i still have cravings for chef boyardee ravioli. i just have to chant "don't look inside, don't look inside, don't look inside" when i eat it so i don't accidentally look down.

quagmire02, until now, I was unaware that Panera offered macaroni and cheese. You've given me good news.AndyMac, I'm kind of with you on the deluxe business. Growing up, the rare instances I was allowed the tasty goodness of mac/cheese included home-made measures or sauce pouches. Powdered cheese was the object of disdain in my family. Then, my ultra-sexy high school friend convinced me of the virtues of powdered cheese. She was really, really attractive. Since then, I've had no problem keeping butter and milk on hand.alibaby, you're a fucking freak. Chef Boyardee is fucking disgusting. It has no place in this thread.
12/9/2009 8:49:13 PM
Does anyone else call it Kraft dinner like in Canada?
12/9/2009 8:52:34 PM
there is only 1 kind of mac and cheese in my book
12/9/2009 8:53:41 PM

AlanM2388 ruined any ability for me to stomach Chef boy'ardee. He would eat those regularly. The lingering smell in the dorm room, was enough to make you open the windows in winter.
