your opinion is downright laughable.

however, to be fair i haven't seen this contemporary remake that is quite possibly butchered.

but the original german funny games with the subtitles is absolutely amazing.

it's basically the same movie. same writer/director only in english

Yes I saw the remake which is by the same director and allegedly shot-for-shot. The twist sounds good in theory but just comes off as stupid in practice. Hopefully White Ribbon is better.
