I haven't had one in like 5 years but I am eating one now and it's very tasty. I prefer eating them in segments though instead of cutting them in half and messing with the knoon/spife.

I can supreme a citrus fruit in no time. I did it for a dish in competition when I was in school, so I supremed like 16 oranges a day. I can't eat grapefruit any other way now.
12/14/2009 4:11:41 PM
I don't cut them. I just kind of tear them. I think it's easier than a knoon, and less likely to end up with grapefruit squirtle in your eye.
12/14/2009 4:11:54 PM
oh, so you segment out more like an orange thennever done thatprobably more efficent, the knoon tends to leave a lot of flesh
12/14/2009 4:13:15 PM
Yep, try it. It's the cool way to eat them.
12/14/2009 4:14:19 PM

12/14/2009 4:17:47 PM

12/14/2009 4:19:13 PM
so at christmas we get like at least 4 boxes that are filled with grapefruit, oranges and pears (YUMMMM i love them)but clearly this is an abundance of fruit, especially for 3 people. my brother doesn't like grapefruit and my dad can't eat it because of his medicine. so i'm the only one who can and will eat the grapefruit.what are other ways to eat grapefruit (if there are any). or maybe i should make grapefruit juice with some of them? cause its wayyyyy too many for me to eat.
12/16/2009 3:16:35 PM
worst part about grapefruits = juice in the eye!!! ahhhhhhhhh
12/16/2009 3:19:35 PM

12/16/2009 3:19:52 PM
I want to go into microbiology strictly to engineer some kind of disease or mutate a fungus that can wipe out the entire world's stock of grapefruit.
