So I have been using Dove Shampoo since high school. I use it because I started breaking out when using shampoos that had perfumes in it. Today when I got a hair cut, the stylist asked me what kind of shampoo I used and got all when I said dove. She said the alcohol and wax (?) in it would thin out and dry out your hair. She didn't try and push their shampoo on me, just said that I needed to use something else.

What kinds of shampoo do you use and why?

It actually is better to rotate so your hair doesn't get tolerant of the effects one particular shampoo has so you can continue seeing good results. One of my favorites, though, is Redken All Soft along with its conditioner.

Are any of these scentless? I'll continue to have bad hair if it means I don't have bumps all over my face and neck.

Biolage color care because a bunch of my friends went to hair school and will scream if I use anything sold at Target, Harris Teeter, etc. Also, I get it for super cheap because they take me to CosmoProf to get it....otherwise I would be using pantene, aussie, etc.

haha, yes it is... someone claimed I was trying to deflect criticism... I posted the damn pic to begin with, its not like someone else would have "exposed" my shower, if I wanted to deflect criticism I wouldn't have posted it at all...

I like the shampoo + conditioner so I can save time in the shower. I started using this brand several years ago because it's what my now ex was using so it was just easier and it smelled decent.

What, you don't like Flex? It smells fine and it's cheap. It smells kind of like hotel shampoo to me--and I like hotel shampoo.

BTW, Flex is sold in Harris Teeter, Walgreens, and Kerr Drug--just to name a few places. You don't go to HT?
