A similar thing happened to my ex, but it's a shitty story. Literally.

We worked together (I was his boss) and he texted me from his work phone. At the end of the text message, he wrote, "BTW, I am pooing right now."

Ten minutes later, he stopped by my desk and said he needed a new phone.

I'm like, "Oh, god. You didn't just do what I think you did, did you?"

He dropped his work phone in the toilet while texting me about being in the bathroom.
