Why do they say "Hello my name is Miss (First Name)" when every other rep you talk to goes by their first name? Is it a cultural thing? Or is it a stage name thing like Ice Tea?/halfseriouspost[Edited on December 23, 2009 at 6:03 PM. Reason : first name]

Was it Miss (Last Name) or Miss (First Name)?

I had a professor that insisted every call him Mr. (first name) and he called all he students Mr/Ms (first name). It was a really odd class. I would fuck w/ him in emails calling him various titles and name combos w/in a single email. I'd also do the same to my signature line every time.
