good idea? FAA is hurting for new controllers, it's pretty good pay, I have my PPL...

teh sucky: rotating night & weekend shifts, possibly shut up in a dark room staring at radar screens all day....

?

You only get the big bucks if you work at the big airports, if you wanted to work at one of the regionals you will not make nearly as much (less stress = less money).

You'll be that guy that's too lazy to enter in your own tower visibility.

ATC tried to force my flight from Knoxville into the traffic pattern at Charlotte on Tuesday. Got 100 feet above the runway and we pulled up and banked hard to the right since there was still a plane sitting on the runway. I don't see how they keep that stuff straight as much as they do.

A shitty ATC almost got me killed when I was training in Texas, luckily I am a kickass pilot and avoided the collision.

Working for the FAA would not be a bad thing after watching ABC World News Tonight this past week. The government spends 5 million dollars on a hotel party for FAA employees each year. It involves alcohol and some of them were caught on camera asking for hookers.
