After all the talk of the Magic Bullet in the Christmas thread, I kind of want to register for one.
12/28/2009 2:35:39 AM
I would ask for one of everything in bed bath and beyond
12/28/2009 2:36:58 AM
haha I don't know, there's some really stupid/ugly shit for sale there.
12/28/2009 2:38:33 AM
ok not everything, just the cool stuff
12/28/2009 2:39:22 AM
I have a Magic Bullet mixer and I love it. I use it to mix chocolate milk, blend soup, make salsa, etc. I think the best gift for a wedding is always going to be money since you can pick stuff yourself and get it where ever you want, but we did register for stuff. I only registered for crystal, a pasta serving set from Italy, a blender, and a few other items. Things it is worth it to register for1. Crystal goblets, flutes, etc.2. I didn't register for them bc I already had a nice set, but dishes should be on the list.3. Bedding/towels4. Serving dishes5. If you want it, a silver dining set. This is becoming less popular. It is a lot of money and a nice stainless set is nice and easier to care for. 6. Table cloths, napkins, napkin rings, and placemats7. Small appliances (toaster oven -they are awesome!, blender, coffee maker, etc)Do not register for the following because you will get them anyway1. Photo frames. We got 5 of them and didn't register for any. 2. Money or gift cards. Tackstar.

ehh I think crystal is overrated. And I'm guaranteed to break it with my clumsiness.
12/28/2009 4:29:12 AM
Crock pot, Silverware, dishes, vacuum cleaner, flashlights, towel set, Microfiber blankets, bed sets...
12/28/2009 4:33:38 AM
haha thumper and eleusis put baby diapers (just to mess with mom and let her think it was a shotgun wedding) and a PS3 on their registry. Oh, and a real banana hammock (a hammock for a bunch of bananas). The things you request when you already have everything.

12/28/2009 12:52:36 PM
a kitchenaidand some kitchen utensilssome new bed sheetswe've gotten a couple checks and a knitted afghan. I only signed up for registries after we eloped because my mother and grandfather's wife would not stop asking where we'd registered and asking us to register. I keep meaning to delete them all.
12/28/2009 1:39:39 PM
I got my buddy a Slap Chop and he lol'd but was kinda pissed till he found the GC from Lowe's inside
12/28/2009 1:42:33 PM
I don't remember because our relatives didn't use it at all. My wifes baptist relatives gave us cheap shit from big lots, and my catholic ones gave us crystal chalices and golden crucifixes and other stuff way to churchy and ornate for use to ever use.
12/28/2009 1:43:38 PM
One of the items my brother put on his was games for like the Wii and the X Box, of course, he didnt get them. We gave him the typical wedding gifts, but it was kinda funny he put them on the registry.[Edited on December 28, 2009 at 1:56 PM. Reason : w]

We put a Serbu BFG-50 on ours...no one bought it
12/29/2009 2:03:26 PM
dumbest thing you can register for: chinaseriously who the hell actually uses this shit except old people named doris and edna?disclaimer: my wife and I fought about this while registering, and she won, and we registered for china.I still think it was stupid, and a waste of space and money. Also, I put a dremel on there, and nobody motherfucking bought that shit either. [Edited on December 29, 2009 at 2:06 PM. Reason : ]

Because they knew you added it. Everyone knows weddings are all about the woman.
12/29/2009 2:21:12 PM
^^sucks for you...we got 2 dremmels and had to take one backand ftr, our white "china" is what we use everyday...it's not fancy china that we only break out a few times a year. I didn't want to register for that either.
12/29/2009 3:33:43 PM
Got a lot of kitchen stuff, good dishes, small appliances/electronics, digital photo frame, other household supplies, and an awesome bookbag because I was starting grad school this year
12/29/2009 3:36:26 PM
we got one really big hideous glass picture frame that was etched with things like "love", "holding hands", etc. that was the only frame we got thankfully.
12/29/2009 3:43:28 PM
12/29/2009 3:49:18 PM
i want china so I will have something to throw when I'm mad.
12/29/2009 3:56:40 PM
when my sister did her wedding and baby registries my parents made sure everything on the list was purchased for them. even the football cards & twizzlers my bro-in-law registered for. so i better get this same treatment if/when the time comes.
12/29/2009 4:58:16 PM

12/29/2009 8:07:07 PM
Fiance and I already have more dishes than we know what to do with.We are registering for nice china and crystal glasses. We have tools and tool boxes, bedding, bathroom stuff, and kitchen stuff on our list.Mostly from BBB (bed bath and beyond) and Macys.

<3 the kitchen aid mixer! We were pretty stoked we go ours, and we got one of the attachments (the slicer) for Christmas. Justin made hashbrowns tonight. I got my eye on the juicer or pasta maker
12/29/2009 10:04:45 PM
