Actually my grandmother is the only one of my actual grandparents still alive. The strikingly handsome man having his nose rearranged actually eloped with her when he was 89 and she was 91. Pretty cool dude though, was a surgeon in the Navy in the Pacific during WWII and a rather talented painter.

You'd be surprised. The two of them look / act a lot younger than they are. I've met people there who are 20 years younger but look just as old, if not older.


I also met a woman in her late 80s who was a ferry pilot in WWII and delivered P-38s to pursuit units in the Pacific.

my grandma is awesome cuz she takes her ass to church every sunday and preaches and shes old as hell

My grandmother is pretty fucking awesome. She was in the Indiana Air Guard when she was 17 years old. She's met and is good friends with the Apollo 11 astronauts, and John Glenn.

Plus, she retired into working as an assistant in a current US Senator office and has worked there for 20 years.

She'll be 82 in a few weeks
