from raleigh? there's not really much... and it's a short drive... so just go to wilmington/carolina beach/kure beach/whereever is close. I know some oceanfront hotels had rooms for like $45 a night

There is a Boars Head in Wallace if thats what you want.

In Wrightsville, restaurants a plenty. Dockside, Fish House, Blue Water, South Beach, Oceanic, Two Guys, Boodles.

Hotels, no idea, my parents have a beach house I get to use for free lol.
