Well I'm getting paid what I would probably spend if I went out and partied. There are going to be more New Years Eves for me...I'm only 22. It's not really that big of a deal to me...I'd rather be making money than spending it.

It's really not a big deal at all, not at all. She asked me if I wanted to work and I said yes. I had the option to say no. But last year I had a blast on new years eve, next year I'm sure I'll have a great time. The rest of the weekend I'll be having a great time. But this year I decided to earn money and not have a hangover.

I am sorry that me deciding to work New Years eve is this upsetting to you.

I used to hate NYE for this reason -- when my parents owned the bar I would maybe see them once all day (unless I helped decorate) since they had to make sure everything was perfect.. Then they wouldn't get home until like 5ish The only good thing was my mom would pay me and a friend to clean up the place the next day for like $50 a piece
