Very lame if you ask me. Not a lot of balls to do it. Sure it was a little risky, but he has people that calculate all it takes for that car to make it, down to the inch and MPH. So basically he hits it at the right speed and is good to go. However, they made him jump on to a barge to make it seem risky. Fact is, pretty much anyone could have done it.

Not knocking him. He has major balls and is a badass, this stunt, just didn't do it for me.

The one last NYE was much more badass, but nothing is as badass as him doing this..

How could you see the previews of this and think it would be anything other than lame?

if he had broken his pelvis, it would have been a lot less lame

we didnt have any audio on it at the bar...did he puss out on the first attempt or was it a staged move to amp the crowd?

it wasn't great, but it wasn't just speed he had to control, it was making sure he was going exactly straight too

what did he do?

is he the same guy that jumped up onto and subsequently off of the arch over Champs-Élysées?

comparatively speaking, that is sort of meh. But then again, i don't see myself getting behind the wheel of a car and sailing it through the air 269'.

the only thing that keeps me from calling it completely lame was that he had to hit it straight on because the landing area was pretty narrow, but last year's was def. better of course with the vegas motorbike thing

^^ That's fake. No way those guys on the hill reacted that way or the car sounded that way if it landed like that.

didn't see the stunt or know what exactly you're talking about, but pretty much any time you take a car off a ramp into the air, you're opening yourself up to all kinds of potential deadly situations. There's a lot more involved than just "calculating MPH"

either way, real jumps are way better just because of conditions

We didn't have any local channels or MTV, so for the first time in my life I didn't watch the ball drop...I watched Travis Pastrana jump a car over some water. It was not that awesome.
