i don't think it is possible anymore i tried to do this yesterday...if you are talking about when it says when you like someone's status or write on someone's wall and it shows on your wall. this is what FB says about that:

yeah i tried to edit my settings within my profile. i used to have to set so that people couldnt see my activity (who's walls i was writing on and who i was now friends with) and they took away that feature so now all my friends can see my activity. lamez.

if you are trying to get rid of the farmville and mafia wars shit, when one pops up just click hide and select hide all for that application

my chat and notifications icons, normally in the bottom right corner, won't show upthe only way I can tell if somebody messages me is to check my email.any advice?

You can delete the "you commented on __'s status" or whatever things individually. Sure it sucks, but it takes like 3 seconds if you want to keep people from seeing that.

i have too much activity and too little time to sit there and go through it individually.

^^ & ^ they eliminated that option in a settings feature w/ their new privacy settings policy...all you can do is go to your wall after and click "remove" next to the item
