I wish I could have seen Page with the Black Crowes (my 3rd favorite band when Ed and Marc Fucking Ford were still in it). My bro saw them in 1999 with Page.

Live at the Greek is pretty much one of the best albums in the last ~10 years, Chris Robinson is a genius also.

Especially in New Earth Mud (NEM); I really hope they come back.

i've seen jeff beck in concert, and while he is a good and one of a kind guitarist, Jimmy page owns. Jack White is cool too, way cooler than that faggot the Edge, but obviously not even in JP's universe.

dude, come the fuck on. jack white is not bad, and definitely has his own style/tone, but he's not in duane's league. i like the way that jack white plays death letter, but what he's doing with all the effects and basic pentatonic riffs can't match up to duane's pure hosing of emotion when he plays. not even close.

and yes, jimmy page was sloppy at times (though it still sounded awesome) but he also had the most baddass tone and riffs of all times, and he is a master at basically all stringed instruments and recording knowledge.

yes, and i won't argue that he plays with emotion. i like jack white, he's one of my favorite touring musicians, but he has a more limited vocabulary to express that emotion and does it more by using effects than Duane. obviously who you like better is opinion, but as far as slide capabilities, Duane>Jack

The White Stripes have a few good song, I'm not sure about their whole albums. I thought Icky Thump was for the most part a good alum. I think elephant was good, but I'm not very into them. I own Icky Thump and there's probably 5-10 other songs of theirs I have on my MP3 player
