Yeah but links are small, its cumbersome to navigate. Like going to the next page on a thread, it involves zooming all the way in and meticulously trying to select the next page. A mobile site would have buttons instead of text links so that you can navigate with out all the zooming.

Apparently you have never visited a site thats designed for mobiles.
