Because some people want to chat without reading bad words and looking at porn. Some people choose to chat while at work so the porn thing is a no no.

now I'm so frustrated about it I can't think of any good examples

but stuff like, your post doesn't count as a post unless it's 50 characters or more

or nit picky stuff like "don't post certain catchphrases like 'LOL' or other internet lingo"

and shit that forums expect you to remember, despite the fact that you're on 100 other forums

I made EVERY WHAT.CD USER POST HERE AT LEAST ONCE

evan alerted me that it made a special section called "epic threads" or something

I think I took a screenshot

they soon after erased that forum

that thread lasted like, 1 day at most

it was quote bombed, and it was epic
