I was so excited about the Wendy's reopening, and when I went in December they had changed the damn fries! They're some kind of skin-on sea salt 100% all natural fries, and they are NOT as good as the previous fries. Get your healthy out of my fries, Wendy.

Has anyone else encountered this? I have not been back since this disappointing experience; the Knightdale Blvd. and Lake Boone Trail stores still have the good fries and until I am assured that the Western Blvd. store has rectified this grave error I will continue to seek deep-fried potato goodness elsewhere.

I respectfully disagree. Wendy's (original) fries are excellent for Frosty-dipping. Wendy's (new) fries just don't cut it.

i think i was the one person in wilmington who never really enjoyed PTs all that much. my bro on the other hand was totally crazy for it. he would just get tons of gift cards to there every christmas.

It's been so long I don't really remember what Wendy's fries are like. My snapshot in time from way back had them as the best fries (among McDonald's, BK, Wendy's and Hardee's), but that was like 10 years ago.

I've only had McDonald's and BK lately. They're pretty much equal. Grind up wet newspaper, toss in some beef tallow/crisco and fry away. After they're cooked, create a substance that has a 2:1 salt:fry ratio and presto.

I went by the one at Carter Finley and ordered a large frosty. The drive thru guy tried negotiating with me and offered a small. I said 'what' & he countered again with 2 smalls. I assumed I entered the Twilight Zone & left

I mean I filled the god damned toilet so high with watery shit that I nearly passed out son. Those fries are dangerous son.
