I have lost all motivation to do anything school related. I have all this life stuff like work, wedding, moving, etc. to take care of and it just seems like the little bit of school stuff I have left isn't nearly as important.

Except MAE 412 Design of Thermal Systems. That shit is gonna be like my lifeblood when I get out of school.

I didn't exactly lose motivation, but I was definitely ready to be out of school after ~2.5 years of college. I just ended up hell-bent on graduating early. I definitely couldn't be one of those people who floats through school for like 7 years.

If you have reasons to take longer (co-op, work, etc.) then that's one thing, and I get that. Just not the people who bounce around between majors because they don't want to leave school or weren't ready to be there in the first place.

[Edited on January 19, 2010 at 2:57 PM. Reason : I did 7. On 6 I was ready go to, 7 I was like GET ME OUTTT!]

I hear you.

A Signed employment contract and two classes makes Senioritis flare up something awful.

^^idk about 412, but he's doing my 416 class. he still seems nervous in front of the class and kinda fumbles around. this is his last semester. he seems like an awesome guy, but our design project blows.

i have Dr. Ward for 412. he's only been here about 2 years. i had him for 308 and i wasn't impressed. it was his first semester and he seems better now. all the 412 classes get the same notes, projects, and homework now, so it'll be harder for him to fuck up. the project in there is pretty cool. it's a circulating water system in a power plant, so it's actually something that interests me.

I changed my major during my 4th semester (switched to CHASS from PAMS after taking nearly all PAMS requirements, so I pretty much had to start over). I also took two semesters off to work (not consecutively). So technically this is my 10th semester, but this is my 6th year since graduating high school.
