Work is trying to get me to go in tonight since a lot of people can't make it (not my normal shift). It's unlikely that I will go, because my RWD Mustang with nearly bald tires is really not good for driving on snow/ice.

ok honestly i'm considering going in at 10, but only since i was one of the 2 people who showed up as planned on saturday.

i'm pushing to get people fired, damnit.

Going to work early, as usual, and then since I have no class in the morning, I get to leave early (as I will work through the time I'm normally gone)!!!

I've had to work all weekend. Two 12hour days that mostly involve driving and/or being outside in the cold.

Oh, you're snowed in? Afraid of driving a mile to WalMart for groceries? Shut the fuck up until you have to drive around a monstrous RWD news van in this nonsense.

you could go in now, and leave after it heats up.

my classes were already cancelled until 3 tomorrow due to the opening of the civil rights museum (which...may/may not still be happening)

schools are closed tomorrow, but teachers are still required to show up for work. I haven't tried to venture out yet, but our roads in our neighborhood are still a solid sheet of ice.

oh you better believe that museum will be open. i work on eugene and i went in saturday. the plows were stationed at smith and lee, going 3 at a time each way up and down elm and eugene all day long.

[Edited on January 31, 2010 at 7:04 PM. Reason : its owned by the racist county commissioner, he spent tons of our money to make sure its open!]

there are thousands of black people coming downtown to park in the no parking zones and paid parking spaces

its gonna be a clusterfuck downtown tomorrow, avoid it if you can

Go after 3 and get them to validate something w/ the time. When your prof. won't accept the excuse, call him a "racist cracka-ass cracka".

Drove from Burlington to work in Greensboro at 6am Saturday morning and then back home that evening. I don't really consider driving to work today a chore though considering the roads, especially the highway, was very clear. I do hate not getting to go out and play in it though.

work is different. You work your hours but don't have homework (persay). Sure you'll have to work extra/ take work home but it's not the same and you know it
