i have spent 15+ hours over the last 4 days clearing snow from my parent's B&B. in downtown annapolis, there's not a lot of room to pile snow. i've had to make piles 5, 6, and even 7 feet tall to clear the guest parking areas. but at noon today i was finally finished and had enough room for 4 guest cars to park.20 minutes ago there was already 2 inches of fresh snow downfuck my life/blogIBT

FUCK YOU SNOW!
2/9/2010 11:19:24 PM
today i heard at least three people over here talking about having their cars hit by plows...now we've only had like 4-6inches...
2/9/2010 11:21:20 PM
Yeah, that's some serious snowfall up there this time of year. I'm impressed by the storms we had here (in south VA and in NC). It has been a cold and rainy year, which I thought to be unusual. The serious weather we've had in my area since I moved here has apparently been rather unheard of for the past decade.

im not very familiar with snow plows but it would seem like that would do some sizable damage
2/9/2010 11:22:45 PM
I would think that even having a street full of snow thrown at your car by a plow could cause some damage. I was definitely wary passing those plows on the highway when I drove back home to Virginia after the snow storm on that Sunday.

irritating that my work will likely be on as scheduled.no shot i get out of my parking lot tomorrowi barely got out this morningprior to all the new snow
2/9/2010 11:26:50 PM
yeah this one girl said they left a note saying sorry we hit your car, and so she glanced at it and noticed they took out the tail light. said she figured it wasn't that bad at first but the more she investigated found snow filling the trunk

what about attacking the drifts of snow with a large flame?maybe plug in one of those amish space heaters outside. i hear those things will heat up a storm.
2/9/2010 11:29:10 PM
I'd go after snow drifts with a shit ton of salt. Cheaper and easier to work with than a flame, and it should start at the top and work its way down. Of course, you're left with ice, but if it's running down into the drains, or maybe the woods, you're OK.
