Crazy sad news. He was my favorite captain followed by Sig. This coming season is going to be hard to watch.

Considering he already had something similar to this recently and it took getting knocked into a shelf to get him into a hospital combined with the admission that this kind of thing runs in his family. They always said that crab fisherman have a shorter life but damn I always thought Sig would just grumble and laugh his way into old age.

well actually, he didnt die doing what he loved. he died after laying in a hospital bed for 2 weeks.
