My friend's sister is blind but no one in her family learned sign languageThey just kind of guide her around like "getting warmer...getter warmer...oh, now you're getting colder"works out pretty well for all parties
2/10/2010 11:44:35 AM

One of my best girlfriends was a stripper while she worked her way through college to become an ASL translator. She said she had a couple of deaf clients and she would sign the song lyrics while dancing and they gave her beaucoup $$$.So, ASL can definitely be a great language/subject to learn.

I know I wouldn't be able to enjoy a lapdance if I didn't understand the lyrics of the song playing either

My sister is fluent in sign language. Once my neice is old enough to go to school, my sister is going back to school to finish her degree in special education. We have a school for the deaf here in Greensboro, so it would be a perfect fit.[Edited on February 10, 2010 at 11:50 AM. Reason : a]

I'd like to go to a school for the deaf just for the lax regulations on farting
2/10/2010 11:52:45 AM
^ That's exactly why I wouldn't want to go to a deaf school. The kids prob rip farts all the time bc nobody else can tell when they do it.
